Ukrainian Cossacks, pretty much like most of nations were totally ok to take some attributes they like from other nations or it is just coincidence we have same hairstyle. In our tribes this hairstyle means - Son of Tengri.
White Scars! They're pretty badass. And this drawing does them so much justice. It's awesome.
My game group's currently running something set in 40k where I play as an Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos, and the second-in-command of my Deathwatch team is from the White Scars chapter. He's a cool guy.
Bodybuilded Genghis khan era mongols in power armour, I love the White Scars and you rendition of them is really cool. The mix of standard imperial power armour with oriental looking knives and decorations are great.
Looking great man! I might have to get a Space Marnie commission from you one day if you're comfortable enough to offer them. Good luck finishing it.
Raist is right I have over 2000 points of Rose Templars which I play as a Black Templar successor chapter. Red Gore instead of white. XD I'm going to be getting some shots of them up on DA when I have more of them painted. tis a slow process. LOL
It is actually refreshing to see a little bit of change from the usual. :3 I enjoy the fact his expression is very noble, yet filled with the internal determination and lust of battle while still clutching to the sanity of his Faith. I tend to like the battle worn type, haha. Just something very noble and wise about them.
Fun fact, is a very avid space marine player himself--the black templars, and he has a freshly painted army of them! (of course he modified the color scheme a bit to his liking)
It really bites you had to sell your own space marines, though
*Gets out a wet mop and bucket full of soap water* *starts to clean the floor* it's going to be impossible to get these brain-stains out of the rockrete. I mean they been here for months so I'm going to have to come back with some cleaning bleach. I might have to use a Flamer if that doesn't work...
